Aquatennial
Held from July 19-22, Aquatennial includes a variety of events. The lineup for 2017 includes the Torchlight Parade and 5k, tennis classic, Candid Canines Film Festival and the Target Fireworks display. This fireworks display has been named one of the top five in the nation.
Minnesota Fringe Festival
Fringe Festival is a display of a variety of performing arts. The festival is now in its 24th year, and will run from August 3-13.

Uptown Art Fair
The Uptown Art Fair will be held from August 4-6. The fair will display works from over 350 artists from around the world. This includes sculptures, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media and much more.
Minnesota State Fair
The Minnsota State Fair has been a highlight of the summer since 1859. The fair now draws over 1.9 million guests annually. Attractions at the fair include everything from music to animals, to art. The State Fair is an excellent celebration of all things Minnesota. The 2017 fair will be held from August 24 to September 4.
