Peterbilt Bendix Factory Options<\/h2>\n

Peterbilt has introduced two new Bendix systems that will be available as factory options. The Peterbilt Bendix factory options will include a new Verajust LS slack adjuster and an Eversure spring break. Both of these systems are designed to maximize truck performance.<\/p>\n

Peterbilt Models Offering the Bendix System<\/h3>\n

The Versajust LS slack adjusters and Eversure spring brakes will be available on the\u00a0Peterbilt 579, 567, 520, 389, 367 and 365. \u00a0Also included on the list are the Petebilt\u00a0579 and 389 glider kits. Many of these models are available at our Allstate Peterbilt Group locations<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Verajust LS slack adjuster is expected to extend lining life up to 16 percent and drum life up to 30 percent. The slack adjuster is designed to reduce brake maintenance and is covered by a 6-year, 1 million mile warranty.<\/p>\n

The Eversure spring break system will help drivers increase payload, improve fuel economy, and lower the cost of operation. This new unit has significantly reduced the weight of the chamber, saving up to 8 pounds per tandem axle.<\/p>\n
