Wood Lake Nature Center
Located in Richfield, Wood Lake Nature Center offers visitors many different attractions. The main building of the park is home to educational exhibits, while the outside of the park offers a 100-seat amphitheater, picnic areas and three miles of trails and boardwalks.

Minnehaha Regional Park
Minnehaha is one of Minneapolis’ oldest parks. Sight-seeing at this park includes a 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs and river overlooks. Other amenities include hiking and biking trails, a disc golf course, picnic area, volleyball court and wading pool.
Fort Snelling State Park
Fort Snelling State Park offers a variety of hiking and biking trails. Visitors can hike to the historic Fort Snelling. Amenities at the park include fishing, kayaking and canoeing on the park’s multiple lakes.
Mill Ruins Park
Take a walk through history at Mill Ruins Park. This park is located on the west bank of the Mississippi in downtown Minneapolis. The park’s walking trails take visitors through the old industrial areas of Minneapolis, creating a unique experience.
